1. Information we handle

wishtrip is operated by GOTROVE PRIVATE LIMITED. References to “wishtrip”, “we”, “us” or “our” in this policy mean GOTROVE PRIVATE LIMITED, which is responsible for the information-handling practices described here.

Trip-planning information

When you build a trip, you may provide details such as party type and size, broad age bands for children, origin, destination, dates, transport choices, interests, food preferences, comfort level, pace and budget-related preferences. We process these inputs to create your itinerary.

Information you send to support

If you email us, we receive your email address and the information included in your message and attachments. Please send only what is needed for us to respond.

Technical and service information

Our hosting, security and delivery providers may process normal internet-request details, such as IP address, browser or device information, requested pages, timestamps and diagnostic information, to deliver and protect the service. We also use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand website performance and broad usage patterns.

2. How we use information

• To generate, display and update a personalised trip plan.
• To keep the website reliable, secure and compatible across devices.
• To answer support, feedback, partnership and privacy requests.
• To diagnose problems and improve the product using aggregated or diagnostic insights.
• To comply with applicable law and protect users, wishtrip and others.

We do not sell personal information and do not use trip-planning inputs for third-party behavioural advertising.

3. Browser storage and analytics

The planner uses browser session storage to keep your answers and generated itinerary available as you move through the planning flow. Session storage normally remains until the relevant browser or tab session ends, although browser behaviour can vary. You can clear the site's browser data sooner through your browser settings.

Cloudflare describes its Web Analytics service as privacy-first and states that its analytics do not use cookies or local storage to track individual visitors across sites. We do not currently use advertising cookies on wishtrip.co.

4. When information is shared

We may share or make information available only as reasonably necessary:

• To infrastructure, hosting, security, analytics and email providers that help operate the service.
• When required by law, legal process or a valid request from an authority.
• To investigate misuse, prevent harm or protect legal rights and service security.
• As part of a genuine financing, restructuring, acquisition or transfer, subject to appropriate safeguards.

Some providers may process information outside India. Where applicable, we will use reasonable contractual and operational safeguards and follow restrictions imposed by applicable Indian law.

5. Retention

Planner state is kept in your browser session as described above. wishtrip does not currently maintain a customer account or intentionally save trip-planning inputs in a customer-profile database. Infrastructure and security records may be retained by service providers for operational, security and legal needs. Support emails are kept only as long as reasonably needed to resolve the request, maintain necessary records and meet legal obligations.

6. Your choices and rights

Subject to applicable law, you may ask what personal information we hold about you, request correction or deletion, withdraw consent where processing relies on consent, or raise a grievance. Where the law provides, you may also nominate another individual to exercise your rights in the event of death or incapacity. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing already carried out lawfully, and some information may need to be retained where the law permits or requires it.

Email support@wishtrip.co with “Privacy request” in the subject line. We may need to verify that the request relates to you before acting on it.

7. Children

wishtrip is intended for adults aged 18 and over. A parent or guardian may provide a broad child age band when planning a family trip, but should not provide a child's name, contact information or other unnecessary personal details. We do not knowingly invite children to use the service directly.

8. Security, changes and contact

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect information, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security. We may update this policy as the product, providers or legal requirements change. Material updates will be shown here with a revised date.
